Fellow Corvette Enthusiasts… Are you looking for a reason to come to Melbourne Florida in January besides the sunshine, beaches, rocket launches, and good food?

Here’s your chance to visit the American Muscle Car Museum and participate in an NCRS event!

Option 1: Have your car checked out by national judges with the experience to let you know how well it represents how it rolled off the factory floor. Dust that beauty off and show it to those who can appreciate the care you have taken to preserve it. We would love to see it!

Option 2: Tour the AMCM of over 400 privately owned cars, not open to the public except through charitable events. We are the only NCRS event in Florida. An entry donation to the museum is $25.00 towards a charity we have chosen unless registered for the NCRS event, then it’s free.

Option 3: Sell your Corvette parts to an exclusive crowd along with other vendors or buy from vendors from all over the US.

Option 4: Grab your friends, do a road tour in your Corvette, and come as a spectator for free. You can park in an exclusive Corvette Corral, open to the public.

So what are you waiting for?

Mark your calendars for JANUARY 17-20. Registration closes on DECEMBER 20.

Yes, members. But are non-members allowed?

This brings up a never specifically defined subject. It's a bit of a confusion.

For example, Old Town in Kissimmee from 2008 to 2014. Hundreds of Public visitors would come into the judged areas, some after walking around in the swap meet areas, some buying parts there. There were also Old Town visitors from all over the world. I consider these "spectators". I never saw a gate keeper refusing to let the public in. Lakeland same situation. The parking lots were exploding with spectators.

The written policy then, and now, was no one other than members were allowed in the judging area.

Now we all know this is a sensitive subject, but how are we going to market our organization and bring new people in if we turn them away.

I joined 35 years ago after my family and I attended a NCRS Regional in Massachusetts.5 of us and my sister and her family of 5. We had a great time and prompted me to join.

I feel this subject needs attention.

If you are an NCRS member and register at ncrs.org, you can be a spectator. If you don't have a car and don't want to judge, you can come. You will receive a wristband for each person on the registration. That wristband gives you entry into the American Muscle Car Museum both days. Other perks go along with registering: 1)Your name badge will allow entrance into the Welcome Reception if you indicate that on your registration 2)There will be 1 goodie bag per Registration, and 3)You may register for seminars and classes.

Darrin, Welcome! I didn't realize you just joined. Great to have you here! I see in your profile that your abode is NC. Will you be driving down primarily to come to the Regional? If you are, as mentioned, you should register to benefit from all of the venues held here, particularly to gain entry into the museum, which only those registered can attend.

If you're already down here and want to just browse for a few hours, then I'll have to leave that decision to "management". Caveat..... You may not get a answer.

The American Muscle Car Museum has graciously opened its doors another day. You will need your purple wristband to enter both days. We can now enter Friday 4pm-7:00pm (after judging has been completed for the day) and Saturday 11:00-3:00pm. Please complete your tour no later than 3:00pm so we can prepare for the Award Presentation.
