    C4 Callaway

How are Callaways judged in the NCRS?
Have been looking at one and wondered how TRUE B2K cars are classed for judging.
Does it get non factory configuration or is Callaway considered the factory?

    Re: C4 Callaway

James I put a 1989 Callaway B2K through the system a few years back and received a McLellan Mark Of Exceliance Award
There are 2 versions of the Twin Turbo Callaways .You could order a car with the RPO B2K from the factory.
These cars can be judged in the NCRS system.
The other version of the B2K was a dealer option. This is not correct for Flight judging the cars came off the dealers floor and were shipped to Callaway for the Twin Turbo conversion They would not have a RPO from the factory
The factory did not have offer a ground effects package . Again these were dealer , aftermarket or Callaway installed

James, The dealer option B2K Corvettes that do not have the RPO from the factory can be judged under NCRS Concours Judging.
Different color ribbons but still fun to pursue.

The B2K cars that came equipped with the automatic trans used a beefed up Turbo 400 with an English Laycock overdrive. It was a $6500 option on top of the B2K. I drove one back in 1989, lots of fun!

It was not a aero body, it was a 87 triple black roadster with 15k miles -NACA ducts in the hood and the 4+3 has BBS's which callaway did equip cars with, however I swear the first time I saw the car 5-7 years ago it had Dymags on it.
Asking 30k. about the price of the callaway option.
MUCH Like the ZERO rust 63 Z06 Spilt window project I passed on 7 years ago I will probably kick myself for this one in 5 years.
