Joseph,
Did they use the "I" in '69 for a month indicator? If not, then "K" would be October and you're fine.Leif

Re: 1969 Oct 31 build date but some parts show Nov date stamp
My L46 was built 5 days before yours. I was not aware vacuum reservoirs had a date stamp...or any other stamp for that matter. Where on the tank would I find this?Hoping I can get some clarification on my 1969 Oct 31 build date.
I noticed my aluminum overflow tank is dated K69 as is my vacuum reservoir tank also dated K69
I know with almost certainty they are original to the car but wonder how this would affect judging.
I might also add, I can’t find a single reference to the vacuum reservoir in the Judging manual.***************

Re: 1969 Oct 31 build date but some parts show Nov date stamp
As you know, there are 3 arms or mounting brackets coming off the tank. Mine is stamped on the outside of the mounting arm in small letters.
I also have what appears to be a 70-71-71 tank that has 3 ports. I looked all over and found only a part number, no date code on it.- Top
