Need tropical headmark and grade for 66 shipping bolt

Does anyone know a headmark, typical for ‘66, and the bolt grade, for the bolt described in the AIM as a “shipping bolt”, labeled with a triangle 4 torque spec at the right in the AIM sketch.

    Thanks,

    Gary

PS I assume RSC, RBW, or TR, would be fine, but I can’t guess the grade, other than it’s not likely to be grade 8.

          Gary,

Why is the bolt necessary for "shipping" ?
I understand there's a hole in the block there, but is it removed and something else attached at the Dealer ?
Sorry for being dense, but I can't envision what would fit in that small space next to the fuel pump.
          thx,
          Mark

One is that Chevy cars in the late 1950s had a motor mount that was secured to the block with a bolt that went into this threaded hole. Another explanation is that a "rack" used to move the block in the factory was bolted to the block with a fastener though this hole. And then of course, there is the "plug the hole with the short bolt but if you need to change the fuel pump insert a long bolt to hold the push rod in place when you remove the pump" explanation. All three might be correct, some more than others. Here is a link to a thread that addresses all three purposes for the "shipping bolt". https://www.forums.ncrs.org/showthre...=shipping+bolt
                Thanks, Ed !

I feel better I'm not the only one who didn't understand what this was for...
The link you provided covers the possibilities really well !
                thx,
