          Henry,

          Thanks for the reply. Nearly all applications will have some type of connector/adapter on the fuel pump outlet. So, the presence of a connector is expected. What I was really asking is if the L79 connector is indeed GM 187343. I know the internal and external thread specifications, dimensions and brass material for GM 187343 from a previous posting by Joe Lucia.

              GM referred to 187343 as a light inverted flared connector 9/16 hex width. At some point Engineering recommended use 9432264 also plain brass
              5/16 1/4-18 (nptf) but with 19/32 hex width. Do not know if used on L-79.
