You should have seen the aircraft we had in the Crusades.

I am continually in awe at the number of people in NCRS who had or have some connection to aircraft. I don't know if it is true, but it seems to me the number of Corvette owners with flying of some sort in their background is disproportionate to the general population. Maybe it is the go-fast urge.

Did you spend time at Bunker Hill AFB in Indiana. SAC had B52 & b58 there. I was in ADC. there for a while.

Terry, I was at Little Rock AFB in Jacksonville, AR. Trained on B-58's and B-52H Models. We only had B-58's and KC135's. Next door to us was Verteck Chemicals where they made Agent Orange. It was shipped from LRAFB for use in Viet Nam!

Thank you to all who served. Yes I agree Terry. There's definitely some sort of connection with the love of aircraft and Corvettes.

Served 1964-1967 in the USNR. 65-67... 2 tours in Vietnam. Flew in EA-1F skyraiders as an aircrew ECM operator. About 150 carrier takeoffs and landings. Acceleration on the catapult launch was awesome; recoveries were controlled crashes. Served aboard 6 different carriers, while in Vietnam. Remember it all like yesterday.
