    John Greenhoe

For those who are not aware, John Greenhoe has passed away. John was a long time NCRS member, although I am not sure if his membership was currently active. John is probably best known for selling Corvette parts, many rare items. He also has owned lots of Corvettes and muscle cars. I met John at Corvettes Carlisle in the early 80's and have purchased many Corvette parts from him. John had a knack for finding some very rare parts. He will be missed. My prayers and thoughts are with him and his family. RIP.

      Re: John Greenhoe

I had spoken with John may times on the phone back in 1993/94/95. I did purchase a few hard to find date coded parts for my Corvette from him. His shop was called; Greenhoe Corvette Supplies, 5681 Pearl Road, Parma, Ohio 44129. He did know his Corvettes and helped me a lot. My thoughts and prayers are with his family also. I don't know for sure, but he must have been in his 80's.

        George,

FYI, his obituary said that he was 66 years old.

Sorry to hear of his passing. I bought parts a long time ago. We have lost too many good people, much knowledge and friends.

            Sorry to hear this.

John was instrumental in me becoming involved in Corvettes. I was a young kid with his first Corvette and John was nice enough to guide me in the right direction in my early years. We became friends and used to play basketball often when I lived in the Cleveland, OH area. I lost touch with him when I moved to PA, but saw him a few years ago at Corvettes@Carlisle. He had a knack for finding really nice cars, especially 1968-1969 Corvettes.

A real loss for the Corvette hobby.

            Regards,

            Stan Falenski
