The ident number corner on my '67 sticker is torn off - unless I'm misunderstanding #1.

well, here's the backside of the sticker we peeled off Thursday. Still has a chunka glue on the back. Anybody want to send a piece to a forensic lab?
It's a June 15, 1967 build. The top left corner(as viewed from the front) was also torn off--guessing they were pulled off a stapled stack?

The top left of mine is also torn off.
My guess is whomever the "tear off guy" was on mine, he/she used a ruler laid diagonally to tear it off so neatly.

Re: Changes in tank sticker procedures/process between 1967 and 1972?
I have a pretty large collection of factory docs including corvette order copies. There are a lot of changes from 1967 to 1972. First, it is common for the upper left corner to be missing on the tank sticker where the id number should be. There were multiple copies of the corvette order copy printed together and the edges were perforated. Some additional copies found their way in the dash, interior etc. The carbon printing on 67-71 tank stickers is largely similar but 72 tank stickers have a lighter blue/purple color. They are also seen with additional data in the equip code column.
Also, there are changes found year to year and also within a specific model year. For example in 1968 if you ordered the L68 or L89 option the 390 to 400 HP equp and the aluminum cylinder head options are up top on the engine option line. For all of 69 and I have seen zero exceptions, those options are found at the bottom of the order copy under comfort and conv. options. Within some model years such as the case within 69, there are multiple changes including mandatory option changes, alignment changes with cars built around the same time showing the same consistencies.
