Re: Fact Check Please
Thank you to all that took the time to look at the article and reply.

>> This might be splitting hairs because they didn't say "Indianapolis", but in 2001 and 2002 there was the color "Speedway White". Usually when somebody says, "Speedway" people think of Indianapolis.
I thought of that, the reason I did not include it is because "Speedway" is kind of generic and I wouldn't be surprised if there were other racetracks with the same moniker. See Floyd Berus' reply.
However, I can be convinced otherwise.

You may be right about the Elkhart Blue '67. My research consisted of going to Google, entering [color in question] Corvette and then looking at the images page. I know relying on Google for Corvette color data is chancy. I'll look it over again. What do others think?

>> Is Riverside red in 63 a racetrack color?
I think so? Admittedly I don't have any first hand knowledge that it is a racetrack color. I did this with the other colors so I may be off here and there. If somebody can find more conclusive evidence, I'd be interested in seeing it.

>> surmise that it is, as you could Laguna Blue (Laguna Seca) in 1966.
I thought of that, especially since Laguna Seca is my favorite racetrack. "Laguna" in Spanish translates to Lagoon so maybe the intention was to make it "Lagoon Blue"? Again if anyone can point out better information I'd be interested in seeing it.

Correct. Its demise was the source of great disappointment to the enthusiast community in the area. For a while there was a museum that was nicely done but according to Yelp it is closed. Sad.

I have a similar photo in my 1959 Stingray Racer article at https://corvettestory.com/1959-stingray.php page 2, courtesy of the Chuck Jordan archives. Part one has a color photo of Dr. Dick Thompson at Marlboro Motor Raceway.
Can you tell me the source of the photo in your post? I'd like to use it in my 1959 Stingray Racer article if possible.
