Early 63 convertible pinch welt caps

These were painted interior color, crimped on and typically fell off. Replaced later by caps that were held on by a screw. Maybe the later were stainless or chrome steel. Those are available repro.

Anyone know where to get some original or repro early versions? Or does anyone have one that I can borrow to copy? I'd pay for shipping and insurance and if a member only has one I'd make them another one in thanks so they'd have a pair.

I have several photos of originals but don't have the dimensions. Also not sure what material they were made of. Could be cast pot metal or aluminum?

I purchased a set back in the early 90's out of Hemmings, but haven't seen a set for sale since. One of the rarest 63-only parts in my opinion, along with original '63 "non- drilled" dog-leg panels for the simple pinch welt cap. Not sure that I'll even put them on my car. They appear to be pot metal.
