How would you replicate the backside taper with a nut?

KO spinners are threaded 2-5/8 x 8 with a backside taper of 60*.

Thanks Jim. Maybe there are some vendors out there offering center lock nuts for other KO wheels , e.g. low rider cars. Background why I want to get such replacements: here in Germany spinners may cause trouble, even when they were original back then. Once there was a replacement aparently went into oblivion.

          Oliver,

You can always drill and tap holes in the spinners for set screws. Set screws will keep the spinners in place.

If the spinners are original, you could always acquire a RePop set to drill and tap.
