Help! A couple of days ago i Had a Murphy's Law incident while working on my 67. I had jacked it up to change the oil, but the jack did not raise it far enough. I was so sure I had the stands far enough away from the car, so I started to let the jack down. Then came the loud crunch on the drivers side. The lip of the stand had caught the front corner of the Rocker molding and bent it under the car. The good news is that it only broke a small piece of glass off, which I will put beck on. The bad news is, the rocker arm had a bend and dent in it.
I just finished using hammers and dollies to get the dent out and in my opinion, for a driver, it is going to be serviceable again. However, I am going to have to repaint the black paint on it. My question is: does anyone know the name of the color, or a paint number so that I can get the correct match?
Thanks,
Ratracer
