Looking for help from someone with the 53-55 Assembly Instruction Manual

Is there anyone who has a copy of the 1953-1955 Corvette AIM who could look to see if there is a particular part number on the front shock absorber page?

if you have have that AIM, could you contact me at gsb1966 @ comcast dot net?

    Thanks,

    Gary

    Gary,

1953-55 AIM is like any AIM you're familiar with. Those started with the 1956 model year.

Gary, in my 1953-55 parts catalog, dated July 1955, the shocks are listed as (Front 5520278-2 and Rear 5520279-2). There is also a rear shock absorber anchor, (left 3706081 and right 3706082). For 1955 only the right anchor 3714311, and left anchor is 3714312, in addition a nut and washer are listed in the 7.345 Shock absorber assembly catalog. If you have any more questions regarding the parts catalog feel free to e-mail me your needs. I believe there are very few of these catalogs left. For the fun of it all four shocks had a list price of $5.65 and the anchors were .95 cents each. ed_hoffman@yahoo.com
