C2 Convertible Top Rear Window Cleanup

Everything coming along well with my Judging Prep for my 66 Convertible L72. Like most aged
Convertible Tops the Rear Window is somewhat "foggy" and not as clear as it once was when new.
Is there any new/current product out there that would help this cleanup?? OR just use water and
live what you got?? Please Comment>Larry and Thanks

Larry, have you tried a fine polish compound? I would not use a machine. A few clean microfiber towels is a good way

I successfully restored the convertible top's rear window on my 62 fuelie. It had been left in the "stored position" for some years, but I have no idea how long. Its condition was not terrible, but I thought it was way beyond the point of a simple hand polishing I was concerned about doing more harm than good so I looked around for something that appeared safe, and eventually settled on using McKees 37 products and a Mirka 3" polisher. I was more than happy with the results and the process was far less intimidating than I imagined.

I regularly use this exact product on modern car plastic headlamps to remove fogging. Fantastic results! Glad I read this thread. Thanks guys, now I'll try it out on my '65's soft top rear window.
