Re: Distributer hold-down
Jack,Now that I have the correct bolt size for the hold-down, do I, or should I remove the coil and it’s bracket from the manifold bolt holding it, to make it easier to install hold- down and to tighten the bolt? I had a heck of a time removing the former 7/16 head bolt with the bracket in my way. Not much room to maneuver a wrench. Jack J.
Get yourself one of these. Snap them together, using the 9/16" side to tighten/loosen the distributor hold down bolt...easy peasy. Don't need to move/remove anything.
