I have had AAA for many years and never was a problem with them towing any vehicle I owned. AAA checks out the towing company they use and they use only people that HELP you during your problem.

Here in NM, my AAA Premier/RV...... They will also tow my car trailer under that policy.

Michael: I suggest you reaffirm that AAA RV towing includes "car trailer".

I pinned SoCal AAA down on this, and the agent said an "RV" has living quarters. Ie a toilet and cooking facilities. A car trailer does not, so they wouldn't tow it if the tow-car broke down. I canceled my "RV" coverage, as it wasn't providing the coverage I thought it was.

Double check that your AAA RV towing policy covers a car hauler. Mine didn't.

I also agree with what Mark said.
A friend recently had his 2019 Mustang 350GT drop a piston in his garage at home.
NCM would not cover the flat bed tow to the dealer as it was not a "Roadside Service".
If the Mustang would have dropped the piston on the freeway, the tow would have been covered.
Good thing for my friend that the engine was still covered by the drivetrain portion of the warranty.
$21K was the bill for the new engine.
