I was there on Friday with a few friends. When we arrived, I had the pleasure of seeing a whole bunch of other friends. The weather was great, a lot of parts, vendors, and I am glad to see this car hobby is very alive!

Carlisle was a good trip to meet old friends and tell tall tales. The C5 - C6 area appeared to have plenty of business with lots of bling being purchased. Rows A - J, where most of the dinosaur parts were for sale, was not so good. Foot traffic was low and many vendors packed up and left Friday afternoon. I had many NOS and restored 63 parts that drew little interest.

The hobby is changing, hopefully we are not going the way of the buggy whips just yet.

Hope next year is better.

I just got back late last night and had a very productive few days. We got there around 2 on Wed. to set up and did pretty well Thursday and Friday. We left around 3 o Saturday. While it is true that the crowds have thinned considerably, people were there to buy and we were busy. I visited with many Michigan Chapter friends and others who I have met over the years and reconnected with some who I haven't seen in years. Overall it was a very good time. O, and the weather was ordered nby the chamber of commerce- clear skies, 75 to 80+ degrees all 4 days. Best ever.
