C2s Long Throw Shift Setting from the Factory � Why were none Short Throw ?

Just for reference, I'm 6'5" 205# with a 34" inseam and I fit in my '67 coupe just fine. Had many C2 and C3 over the years and they've all been quite comfortable.I forgot about the fore/aft adjustable steering column. I recall it was only three inches total and from the plant, it was all the way back. I adjusted it all the way forward and the seat all the way back. I'm six feet with a 32" inseam (at least back in the day), and I don't see how a C2 would be comfortable to anyone much taller, but it's better than a C1.
