    c2 door panels

    does anyone have any gouge on locating the 1/4 -20 screws underneath the armrests to the nut plate behind the door panel ??
    i pulled whats left of my hair out installing new panels from al knoch.. not their fault but it's tuff trying to locate these screws at the
    proper angle to basically a blind hole..

    should be able to get those from any vender. Try zipp corvette

      Maybe use a long icepick to locate the hole; and then note the position of the icepick shaft and try to replicate that with the bolt ?

        Steve, I wonder if you could take a 1/4 20 screw and grind a point and thread into nut plate I would try making a short screw so the panel can lay flat as possible a d that should mark location.you could even use a dab of grease to help mark.

          thanks edward...great idea... that would definitely lower the risk of cross threading.. i had my 1/4 -20 tap and die handy when i did them. and had
          to use them a time or three whilst in the process..
