    1966 Headlight lubricant service

I would like to change the lubricant in my 1966 headlight assemblies. Does someone remember if there might be an article about this job in the Restorer?

    Thank you,
    Ken

Itz very easy to SEARCH the online Restorer Index... follow along:
    1) Mouse over SERVICES
    2) Come down to PUBLICATIONS
    3) Then over & down to RESTORER INDEX

    Restorer_Index-01.jpg

Depending on your computer settings, the INDEX may automatically OPEN up...
Or it may give you the option to OPEN or SAVE the INDEX.

Viewing the top section of the INDEX, there are RED directions to OPEN a SEARCH BOX:
For a PC, hold down the CONTROL (CTRL) key (typically) in the lower left of the keyboard, and tap the 'F' key...
For a MAC, hold down the COMMAND key, and tap the 'F' key.

This keyboard 'combo' of keystrokes will OPEN a small DIALOGUE BOX (rectangular box) on your screen...
Type in your SEARCH TERM... in this case just use HEADLIGHT (singular), then hit the ENTER key.
If found, it will automatically SCROLL to the first location... and for HEADLIGHT, there are 12 items.
Use the UP or DOWN ARROWS next to the SEARCH BOX, to scroll to the next item.
(not all articles are for a C2... see what titles may be best for you)

          Ken,

Engine Assembly lube adheres to metal surfaces to prevent destructive metal to metal contact. Prevents friction, galling and wear on all types of engines.

This is the lubricant my friends the Anderson's recommended for headlight motors. Personally, used it on 2 rebuilts and my '64 was working flawlessly after 20 yrs.

            Gary,
The assembly lube sounds like a good idea.
            Thank you,
