    Re: 1967 trim tag mistake

Could it possibly read 55BF... perhaps with the leading '4' missing?
Something like this 1967 Trim Tag animation... reading 455BF.
(thatz 'B' as in Boy... not the number eight)

      Re: 1967 trim tag mistake

      Blair,

I think Jack is dead-right (missing a "4"), but please describe what your car's interior color options include:
      Headrests ?
      Power windows ?
      Hardtop ?
      Powerglide ?
      Interior colors ?
      thx,
      Mark

Our 67 trim tag is missing the 4 also. Built on a Monday in September 1966, I bet.....

Hey Blair- WELCOME to the Technical Discussion Board!
The aspect of no headrests, no power windows, but includes a hardtop... fits right in.
The interior was originally white and black vinyl... so someone changed that striking color combo.

                    Blair,

I assume if you had a tank sticker you would have compared what was on it to the Trim Plate, right ?...

So, I guess no tank sticker available, eh ?
                    thx,
                    Mark

Just another example why management frowned upon line workers having a liquid lunch.
(I'd still guess it was intended to read 455BF... as previously noted.)

It all seemz fairly logical... but without documentation, we're just giving you our best GUESS.
There were 4 different interior options for a convertible Goodwood Green car:
                            Black = STD; Saddle = 420; Green = 430; White & Black = 455

Your car conforms to the ECL codes (which were OMITTED with a STD interior):
                            BF: Includes C07 = Hardtop; but excluded A31 = Power Windows & A82 = Headrests

Via another animation, herez what I believe your Trim Tag should have looked like... others may disagree:
                            455BF.gif

                            -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Trim Tag codes won't impact the ENJOYMENT your Corvette provides... have fun!
