      remove the speedo cable from the head of the speedometer , raise tires off ground, put it in gear and observe if the cable within the speedometer cable assembly you just removed is rotating. if not, you probably need a drive or driven gear at the tranny tailhousing. mike mccagh

                      Ir's not that bad a job. However, there is a grease seal in the bullet. Be careful not to lose it....
