    Hi Reba,

    dunno if this is true for '69s or not, but if the tank sticker still shows its IDENT No.; the document validation service can couple that number w/ the VIN. Tank Stickers (Order Copies) did not list the VIN as far as I know...unless that happened later on...

    So it's good you let that go with the car....someone down the road could "prove" it was w/ the VIN on the car - assuming the full ident number is still there and fully readable.

            I know where they go, and would like to glue them, but trying to figure out the best means to adhere back on the tank.

            The paper is so thin, don’t want to glue to bleed thru.
