Sorry slow to respond. Filling, blocking is a lot of time, not hard, just finesse and time. Manufacture is PPG and type of paint is Deltron. Enjoy the weekend. Mark

Said I would post some pictures after done. Car has 40 year old paint job, top has 4 week old paint job. It was a nasty job in a very hot inflatable paint booth but got it done.

Looks like a good match. Whenever car owners have trouble with color match, they should go to a qualified Auto Body shop that has a color eye system. A camara takes a picture of what color you want to match and sends it to a computer which prints out a few formulas. You take the closest match and if it doesn't match perfectly the computer tells you what tints to use to get an exact color match. Of course, spray test panels are involved.

I recently purchased a gallon of original PPG Duraacryl Sunfire Yellow acrylic lacquer paint with the formula still legible on the outside of the can. Unfortunately the can was mishandled and I lost about a quart so I put the rest of it in new quart cans to assure preservation. If any of this information and or paint would be helpful to you please feel free to contact me.

Thanks Gary. I appreciate the thought. Guess I will use the paint brand and #'s that I did on the hard top to do the rest of the car. (When ever that may be.) I will post the numbers here in a bit in case anyone would like to use them. Thanks. Mark

In case anyone was wondering what the paint was to do the sunfire yellow on the hardtop. Its Delton PPG.
