I am in agreement with Cindy, I am not a fan of an Oxford shirt. I find Oxford shirts to be less comfortable while on the judging field. In addition to being more comfortable moving around in a polo shirt, I find a polo shirt more temperature friendly during our warm weather judging season. Additionally, Dave is spot on, the shirt does not make for professionalism, the wearer does. I plan to continue wearing my polo shirts.

How can an organization whose membership falls under 10k, with a 45% dues increase, afford to outfit a fleet of judges with any kind of shirt? Or am I missing something?Tom Russo

The organization is not paying for them, the judges are if they want them. I am guessing it will be voluntary.Big Tanks In the High Mountains of New Mexico- Top

Well, I got mine today. Took several weeks for it to be delivered. Looks fairly nice. I too would have preferred a polo style. Oh well.

Ken;
Congrats on getting your new shirt. I for one am very confused about this new shirt concept. I'm eligible for my 400 at this year's National Convention however at this point I've not heard from anyone regarding if I need to purchase my own shirt or what the new procedure might be.
Ken, perhaps you might shed some light on how you knew that you needed to order your own shirt. Additionally, it might be a great idea for someone in the chain of command at the National level to enlighten us all of what the new procedure is, if there is one.- Top

Well, no one offered to buy the shirt for me, so I just ordered on-line. figured I could "model" it at the next event I might attend. I don't know if anyone checks the level of the judge when the shirt is ordered. So now there is no real visible differentiation of judge's level except the stars. A sea of blue on the judging floor.👍 1- Top

I just received mine also. My understanding is it is totally voluntary and you do pay for it like all previous "Master Judge" shirts Except when you are recognized at Convention (like Tom will be) for 200, 300, or 400 levels. That is a different shirt that only denotes you are in the "200 Club" (or whatever level) & your name and is free. I think there is a verification of your level (stars) done when you order the new Master shirt.- Top
