Yellowing of the plastic convertible window

I want to address the yellow staining on my ‘70 C3 plastic convertible window. Is the staining mainly or entirely on the exterior side of the window? Or, does the yellowing get into the thickness of the window including the interior of the window?

The exterior will be easy to try to reverse and clean up the yellowing. The interior will be another story as there isn’t much room to physically get in the car and attempt to work on the interior side of the plastic window.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

If you need to do the inside - remove top from car. Just remember to mark locations

Open the top and lay it over the frames. You can then be outside the car while working on the inside of the rear window.
Now if I could figure out a way to fold the windshield over to clean its inside, this old body would appreciate that.
The light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off.
