1963 Center Console restoration

The center console on my 63 needs is a little worse for wear. I'd appreciate some recommendations on who can re-anodize and restore these.

You could try Andy Cannizzo out of Matawan NJ. If he is still doing these, he removes the anodizing, fixes defects, straightens and polishes the metal and re-establishes the "satin" top finish then re-anodizes them and he charges accordingly.

You likely know there is an excellent reproduction available. The last time I looked, it was $950. Steep price, but the quality was excellent. A proper restoration may even be more than the reproduction?

There is almost certainly only one manufacturer and the same item is sold by all the typical vendors. Zip and Corvette Central both list it at over $1,200.

The entire setup from Zip is about $2,300. This includes the main console, side moldings and horseshoe.

Garald, Thanks for your reply. Do you agree with Gary that there may be only one manufacturer? I think that it may be Crane Corvette .
