Are you wanting these dimensions in order to find/identify a low cost replacement filtering element?

The idea is to get a sense of the available space between the cannister and engine to see if a mini alternator can be used.
An AC compressor fills the right side void.

John,
A/C was not a factory available option for a Fuelie. That said, Don Heckenberg has a ‘65 coupe with A/C and fuel injection so he might be a good source for addressing your question. Also, there are different mounting arrangements for small block alternators, including a low mount bracket that might work. One drawback might be the availability of drilled/tapped holes where you need them on these older blocks.

I added air conditioning to a 63 Fuelie. Used a Vintage Air serpentine system that placed the alternator in front of driver side head, thus allowing the air cleaner to fit. I’ll find a pic and post it.
