Please join us beginning at 7:00 am, Saturday, May 17 at Ferman Chevrolet, 9751 E. Adamo Drive, Tampa, Florida for our annual NCRS Florida Chapter Spring Judging Meet. This meet is being sponsored by Ferman Chevrolet, which has graciously agreed to serve us lunch and also provide us with a tent under which we will judge our classic Corvettes. This will be 1–day, 3-point NCRS judging event that includes a one-hour Judging School titled “Engine Performance Testing Using Vintage Sun Scope And Diagnostic Machine.” The Judging School will be taught by local NCRS member Wayne Pendle, who will speak about judging distributors and related equipment, and also conduct an actual diagnostic test on a 1965 L76, 365 h.p. Corvette using one of his vintage Sun Diagnostic machines.
Our NCRS Judging Meet will be combined with a Veterans celebration the same day that is also being sponsored by Ferman Chevrolet. If you plan to arrive on Friday, May 16 and need a place to stay, we have arranged for an NCRS group rate at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, 915 S. We already have some cars signed up for judging, but can accommodate a couple more, so let us know by May 1 if you have a car that you would like to have judged that day. We also need judges to sign up, so please spread the word.
