C2 C60 Hot Water Cutoff Vacuum Switch

I have a switch apart. The O-Ring is worn out. I believe it's an LIC replacement brass switch.

Would anyone know the size/dimensions of the O-ring.

Here is a thread I found on the Board ----> https://www.forums.ncrs.org/forum/te...ns#post1016214

I'm still measuring to see if the dimensions in the thread are from an OEM switch or an LIC switch.

    Thanks

The one I have has no marking, so it must be from LIC. I took some surgical tubing and cut to fit. Some silicone grease and it works fine. Before I peen it back together, I'll look for better tubing. Should be a good solution.

Definitely an LIC switch. I finally, today, got the last pieces of the old flat-o-ring out. There must have been two in there, but I can't tell where they were installed or even measure their dimensions.

Has anyone take one of these apart and documented how it was originally assembled? It is different than the OEM part.

          Cheers.

Send me your email and I will send you my write-up on the rebuild. Or I can provide it to you thru the other forum (CF).

I pulled the info in the attached pdf from the CF some time back. It includes Larry's write-up along with other info. Hope this is OK Larry.
