'62 Heat Shield Screws

The AIM shows the heat shields on a '62 are fastened to the engine block with a part number 193938 screw assembly. It's a 1/4" screw with a captive washer. I believe it's called an "assembly" because the part contains that washer.

I'm trying to determine if this washer is flat, split, or toothed.

My memory says split. I'm sure others will correct if it's star.

Chris,

I went junk yarding to find these bolts and took them off a mid sixties chevy and they have a split washer. The four heat shields as well as the two spark plug wire brackets that bolt to the back of the engine block. I found all six bolts the same.
