I just found a glove box door for my 66 that is in perfect shape except for two dents in the brushed steel part of the front. What is the best way to repair/restore this without drilling out the rivets on the back? Is there someone who provides this service? Thanks.

Re: 1966 Glove Box Door
One method is to cut the brushed steel and place it over the dented one. In either case they are both detectable, there was a good write up about door restoration in the Restorer don't remember which method they used.

Curt,
Take a look here and in the Spring, 2007 Restorer.

This was a preview of the Restorer article covering a 64-65 glove box door. Works the same for a 66-67 covered in the article also.
