JL? - Part number request - Neutral Safety

Request for a friend.

1993323 Neutral safety switch application? It has a 441 stamped on its' bracket, scratched out and restamped(I think he said 323). Pass car, Chevelle/Nova, ???.

I see 1993324 in my 53-72 parts book numerical list is for Corvette Grp 4.054 but when I go to 4.054 it's not shown. Grp is for clutch activated switch, etc.

Part number request - Neutral Safety

Per P&A30 Chev parts books '65, 67 & 69, Gr. 4.054, # 1993323 is '65 Corvette (only) trans control switch w/Power Glide, w/back-up lamps.

# 1993300 is '65 Corvette w/P.G/ (1st design) exc. back-up lamp
# 1993324 is '65 Corvette w/P.G. (2nd design) exc. back-up lamp
These 2 numbers agree with my AIM copy, UPC M35, Sheet 10.

in service, # 1993411 replaces 1993323 starting 11-67.
and # 1993324 replaces 1993300 starting 7-66.

GM #1993323 was the original neutral safety and back-up lamp switch for 1965-67 Corvettes with Powerglide and back-up lamps. It was discontinued in November, 1967 and replaced by GM #1993411. The latter switch was discontinued without supercession in May, 1986.
