    67 wiring

I am working on a resto-rod and need to hook up something to make it hot when the key is on. Can I do that at the ACC. on the fuse box? Or is that hot the whole time the battery is hooked up. Or should I get that from the wiring on the back of the iginition switch? If so what wire? Red, Purple, Pink etc.
    Thanks

If your 67's fuse block is like my 68's, just put a connection to the IGN position in the fuse block.

You could connect to the key side of the ballast resistor which is hot when the ignition key is on.
