    Correct Clutch Fork for '61?

Can someone (Joe?) provide the correct clutch fork part number for a '61 with an aluminum "553" bellhousing? I am getting ready to pull the works as one of the fingers of the fork spring broke. I want to be sure that it is the right fork before I bother to repair it.

My understanding is that there may not be a part number stamped on the fork. If that is the case, are there unique identifiers or critical dimensions that I can check?

    Thank you,
    Mike

    Mike-----

I'm out-of-town and I don't recall the part number of the C1 clutch fork. However, I can tell you that there is no part number to be found on the piece and the C1 fork appears very similar to the 64-81 fork. But, it's not the same and is not interchangeable.

        Joe,

Thanks for the reply. It seems like the only option to get the correct fork is to buy it from a Corvette supplier and hope that they got it right.

I remain interested in the correct part number and can wait until you get back from out of town.

        Thanks again,
        Mike
