    Free Range Air

If you are dedicated to green you will use free range polluted air.

Install polluted air in your driving tires. As you drive and the wheels turn centrifugal force will move the pollutants to the tire where it will adhere to the rubber, leaving pollution free air in the tire.

If you are REALLY dedicated to green, you will change the air in your tires every time you drive so as to continually release pollution free air and capture more of the free range polluted stuff.

The key is, you must drive at speed high enough to generate sufficient centrifugal force to separate pollutants from the air.

Verle, My wife has accused me of fast driving. How fast do I have to go? I hope I can make it as I only have a small block. Dale

        Dale,

With a small block you should not have to worry about exceeding the red line.
6500 or so should be plenty.

If, however, you had a big block you would have to be careful; few will turn that fast.

Verle - Will spin balancing do the same thing? Pete

            Re: Free Range Air

If the NOS air has not been homogenized does the higher quality air rise to the top of the tire while the car is parked? If it does can that air be accumulated and used for special purposes?
I may have a tire that has NOS air in it and I want to make the best use of it.
            Regards,
            Alan

              Peter,

Spin balance does not turn the tire fast enough for separation to occur.

I am not sure of the actual spin speed, probably not much over 25 or 30 MPH.
You need to turn the tires at least 100 or more.

                Re: NOS Spare Tire Air

Back in the late 60's and early 70's GM used a collaspsed spare tire that you had to inflate with air before use. They provided a canister of air for that purpose. There was enough for one application.
