Just curious what the membership card would be used for? Another quick question, now that the TDB is member only will more Chapters be filling in the coming/calander of events? Nice change!

Terry, Actually what prompted that question was the link above next to the User Profile. A membership card is produced for you, and you then have the ability to print it! I also believe that a card was in my original membership package.

Kevin is correct regarding the membership card. To the left of "User Profile" you will find "NCRS Membership Card". Click on it and you can print yourself a NCRS Membership card. Things just keep getting better on the new TDB

Its great for those who can't remember their NCRS #. They can put it in their wallet along with their other important personal information in case of an emergency.
Not that I have that problem , but some members have been known to have memory lapses.

There have been a lot of members through the years that have asked about or for memberhip cards. The expense of printing and mailing them and keeping them updated made them hard to justify.
Now through the miracle of modern technology every one that wants one can print their own. The expiration date is taken right from the membership roster so no one has to create them monthly for those who would need to be updated.

Terry, no problem. If you have a card and are ever in a serious accident (other than in the Corvette), your rescue team will look at this as a donor car. They will all be wondering what year they will get!

Y'al get a GOLD STAR. Up til now only one member has notice the Membership card button. As John points out being able to print your membership card is one of the benefits on the new TDB. Enjoy, Gary....

Given those reasons I'll have to print it out -- as soon as I can get to a color printer, so it looks official -- I'll put it between my AARP and MediCare cards.

Yeah, here's one...add a feature using modern technology to print "membership cards" for Andrew Jackson's fan club; members only, of course.
On a more serious note ...John, is there some reason that the "Edit" feature (cut, paste, delete, etc) is not available by right clicking in the "Reply to Thread" frame as normally seen in IE? If you go to the Edit tab in IE, you can cut, copy, paste and delete highlighted areas, but not in the reply frame.
