C2 Seat Backs

NOS Seat backs are extremely rare and current replacements will not pass NCRS judging (they look awful too). Does anyone specialize in re-newing original seat backs?

What year are you referring to? The 63/4 vinyl backs or the 65/6/7 plastic backs?

1965 seat backs. I have been told that they are polypropolene(sp?). The replacement seat backs are made from a different materal that does not match either feel or look.

might try re-finishing the originals with vinyl spray paint. think Al Knoch has the vinyl paint. mike
