Guys;
I'm having an original L78 built out for my 1965. I was lucky enough to find a fairly unmolested 962 block with an April date.
I've gone though the archives and have seen a few posts regarding the rear cam journal needing to be grooved.. (Clem and Duke weighed in as I recall).
Can I ask you guys to let me know what needs to be done specifically and why?? The folks doing the work are very good but restoration engine work is not their main business. We will be using an after market solid cam. I want to make sure that this gets done properly...
Thanks in advance!
Joel
