What 1984 parts need to be remove on the judging field?

Having my 84 chapter judged this weekend and I am curious on the parts (air cleaner etc.) that need to be removed specific to the 84. This is the first newer then C2 I have had judged so a little guidance would be appreciated. (note: I have read the JRM on this and it is vague so please don't tell me to start there) What tools do I need to remove said items?

By the way the needing four letter search worlds makes me use a few of my own four letter words. Eric

Eric,

You need a ratchet and socket (13/16", I think) to lower your spare tire cover.
You might need to expose your distributor cap. On an '85, this requires a small torx socket. Not sure about an '84, but it probably is exposed by removing the air cleaner via the 2 thumb screws.
Bring a can of "Carb-and-Choke" cleaner with a spray extender tube. You can use this if you couldn't get at your engine stamp pad to clean it.

I am interested in knowing if I need to remove the complete air cleaner housing on the Crossfire. Not necessary on your TPI 85.

Yes you will need to remove complete air cleaner in order to see cross fire injection underneath.
