    '62 Finish of throttle linkage

On my '62 it appears as if the throttle assy. that goes through the firewall, was installed prior to the underhood black out. So are these items totally black, or just kind of oversprayed? The accelerator lever, that goes from this linkage to the accelerator rod, is it painted with the underhood black out? The judges manual appears to read to me, that this part is cad. plated. Also, what type screw is used to secure the ground strap to this lever?

David - I believe the round...

throttle asy and firewall bracket were in place during blackout. The vertical flat steel zincad throttle lever was not yet attached until after blackout.

I hate it that I can't refer to your question as I try to respond - seems a couple weeks ago I could. Of course, maybe I just don't know how... DC
