    '65 Heater/Flasher side panel

During one of my never ending searches for parts last night, I pulled out the box that held a bunch of the interior pieces for my still-apart 65 CV.
I came in contact with driver's side console panel and noted two things that I had not noticed before: 1) the screw holding the bracket for the flasher came through from the BACK side and 2) the fiberglass piece on the inside that creates the heater air passage was blocked at the top, with a 1 1/4" fold over of fiberglass - effectively making the outlet half the size that it would appear. Normal? Does it matter that it is an A/C car? That it is very late? Thanks.

What ?? do you mean that if I fly down in a couple of weeks that you will not be able to take me for a spin in ...561 ? The warm(er) weather has got me pushing on ...564 as well.

They're ALL like that; at least '65-66. A/C or not; my early C60 is the same. Screw from the inside; flap in the duct blocking off half. Maybe that was to force more air out the slot pointing to the feet.
