Quick question or two about these torpedo bulbs that I removed from my 67 with AC.
1. I assume the one in the middle that is different is the "heater torpedo". Is that correct? Notice that the number and slot sizes are quite different than the other two.
2. I assume that this heater torpedo is suppose to have a green cap as well. Is that correct?
3. I assume that the "melted" part of the green cap on the other two AC torpedos is NOT suppose to be there. It appears to me to have melted from the heat of the bulb a long time ago. Is that correct.
4. Therefore, I would need 3 new green caps. Correct?
5. Finally, what the heck are those green caps suppose to do and exactly how do these slotted torpedo lights work? Are these 1967 fiber optics, where they were trying to "direct the light to a specific point?
Thanks
