I just finished with the account activation for these forums and I was invited to make my first post here.....so....

Greetings to you all....I have only been an NCRS member for a few years; my car is an '81 which is by no means a collector, but it is original and it is mine.

I always look forward to receiving the NCRS magazines; there are some terrific cars out there. There also appears to be no shortage of expertise and advice, so, before asking questions that I am sure have been asked already, thank you in advance.

Welcome David!!! I've been a member for over 20 years and still get excited whenever the Restorer or Driveline shows up in the mailbox. This organization is excellent. Many great cars, but even better, great people. I've attended many NCRS events over the years and always lots of fun. Try to get to any event for a fun filled and informative time.

WELCOME! Always nice to hear from "up North". I tell you what, I'm bolting stuff back on my 74 left and right waiting for our Illinois snow to disappear by April (tomorrow) and hit the road myself. Are you coming down to the GOLD?

Would like to go to the 'Gold', but can't do it this year......your snow may be gone by tomorrow, but ours will be around for another month....it is still piled 6 ft on each side of my driveway...raining for the next few days so a lot will go........don't see the Vette on the road before the end of April....
