    1954 Wiring Question

I've got some wiring issues with my '54 and am trying to figure out why my common ground wire is hot when the light switch is on. Anyway, after investigating the hot-ground-wire problem, I found by chance that on the in-line fuse coming off the gas gague, there is no fuse in it. I can't find what fuse it should be anywhere. Does anyone know what rating that fuse needs?... It wont solve my ground problem, but at least that circuit will be closed. Thanks for any advice.

    Re: 1954 Wiring Question

Normally there isn't an inline fuse. This is a dangerous situation so putting in a fuse is recommended. I would recon a 0.5A would do the job (but that is just guessing)...
