    Generator Pulley Offset

I am seeking clarification. I have seen 1102043 generators offered with 3-5/8" pulleys in configurations that are both offset and flush against the fan. I believe that the offset variety is correct for 1958 through 1961 and the flush is correct for 1956 and 1957.

Can someone chime in and confirm or correct this?

    Thanks, Mike

    Re: Generator Pulley Offset

The '2043 generator was 'dressed' differently depending on year of use and engine configuration:

    56-57. 220 HP, 3-3/8 x 3/8 Inch Flush Pulley
    57, 245-283 HP, 3-5/8 x 1/2 Inch Flush Pulley
    58-61, All, 3-5/8 x 1/2 Inch Spaced Pulley

The various NCRS Judging Guides detail these differences, so there shouldn't be confusion....

Thanks Jack for the excellent clarification.

I have the judging guide for 1961 only and wondered about the flush pulley applications. Now I know!
