    Garage floor epoxy

I have read in the archives on the use of Sherwin Williams Armorseal 1000 epoxy, I received a quote per gallon of $60...it takes a part A and B for kit or $120....is this a good price?

    Re: Garage floor epoxy

Dino, 3 years ago it was $55 a gal. Maybe that's the current "contractor's price". I used 16 gallons for 2,000 sq ft. Remember, always it's always better to have too much epoxy on hand than not enought. First coat gets thinned with Sherwin-Williams Reducer # 54 R7K 54 at 1 pt per gal. Rinse with amonia (8 oz to 1 gal water) after washing with muratic acid (8 oz to 1 gal water) to prep the floor before applying the epoxy. Sherwin-Williams can mix just about any color you want. I selected a color that would be easy for me to find nuts and bolts when they were dropped. Good luck, Gary....

No problem, Mike. I was told any color you want, just be patient.
