62 Front Nose Supports

Does anyone have a good picture or precise description of where the front support bars attach? We are trying to put the two that attach just in front of the hood opening and go down to the grille area. How far from center do they attach at the hood opening and where exactly do they connect down by the grille?

Two fiberglass "lips" , having nose support rod backets, should exist to mount the rods. they also have clips for the front wiring harness. If these are missing, they are 4.60 from center line to the inside rivet. of the bracket. Bottom of the rods attach to to lip area of the grille opening. The prebent rod bolt hole will align with the correct body holes when angled outboard from the top bracket.
Best get an AIM....

Thanks for the info, I do have an AIM but we are working on a car with an aftermarket front end and Bubba never put the rods or brackets on. My car is 300 miles away so I can't look at it and my senile mind does not remember. To me the AIM is a little vague on this point. It does not tell how far from center the brackets are and from the drawing it looks like the bottom mounts to one of the grille holes but I don't think that is right. Shouldn't there be an indentation for the lower mount? Or does it mount to a grille bolt? Thanks again

I have a 61 off the frame and measured the support rods, I believe they will be the same for a 62:

Lower: 10" left and right from center line
Upper: 6 1/4 " left and right from center line.
There are metal support brackets on the uppers
