69 L36 PCV hose and spring clamp.

Does anyone know how long this hose should be? I seem to remember it having two separate applications so I'm not sure if I should leave it at 24" or cut it a certain length.

Also, what color should the spring clamp be on the PCV end?

Does the carb end get a clamp as well?

Well near as I can tell the carb end of it doesn't get a clamp but I still don't know what color the clamp on the PCV end should be...anyone?

It's also WAY too long as it is so I do have to cut it. Does anyone know how long it should be? Should it go through the lifting bracket...over it...or around it?

The AIM shows clamps at both the the carb end and the PCV valve end. However, I can tell you that my 1969 small block never originally had a clamp at the PCV valve end. I'm sure about that. As I recall, the color of the clamp was black. I still have it, but it's not where I can get at it right now.

Ya you're right Joe. I looked at my AIM again and I see that it does show a clamp at the carb end.

I still need to figure out how long it should be. If anyone has a blueprint it is p/n 3901839. A pic of an original hose installed on the engine would be just as good too if anyone has one.
