Are the BoD minutes posted someplace on the website???? And if so, how does one navigate to them?

Rick, the Board of Director's meeting minutes were distributed to the Chapter Chairmen via the Regional Directors. Gary....NCRS Texas Chapter

Re: BoD Minutes - Where?
Rick,
You have a valid point for all 1,841 currently registered online NCRS members. The Restorer will serve as the source of the BoD minutes for the other approximately 14K members who aren't registered online and for all the members who do not currently belong to a chapter and therefore won't be seeing the minutes in one of the chapter newsletters. Re: BoD Minutes - Where?
I truely believe that making them available electronically (with member restrictions which I understand is possible) would be a nice addition to the current way of distributing them. Same applies in my view for other official NCRS documents such as the latest version of the by laws and Chapter Guidelines (for those who have missed the 08 updated version - your regional director will have them as well).

Re: BoD Minutes - Where?
I do not see the point of limiting access to the various publications, minutes, by-laws, etc. simply because they are going to be published in the Driveline or because they have already been distributed to the chapters, etc.
For me, the Driveline lasts about a week; I call whatever members or vendors have items I'm interest in, register for any upcoming meets I am interested in, and then toss the issue in the trash. I'd like to have year round access to the minutes to see what was decided and to facilitate communications with my regional director and to generally stay in tune with the organization.
The judging sheets are available from Roy, your local chapter judging chair, and also on this website. Why not make all documents of this type available from a variety of sources?
The argument that the 14000 members who do not access the website are disadvantaged does not hold water. We are not asking for an online classified where people are essentially competing for parts (not in this plea anyway). I would simply like to see an additional avenue for distributing club information.
Just my $.02

Re: BoD Minutes - Where?
To me the issue is access and transparency for the Board. Given that a medium exists to ease distribution of the minutes, electronically posted here, then I think it should be used. Transparency helps promote confidence in the Board and the decision making processes it employs. I have no issue with restricting access to NCRS members, as the decisions made only effect us and not the non-member lurkers. Just my $0.02.
